These terms cover your use of the ClearDictate app and this website. They apply equally to individuals and organisations.
1Who we are
ClearDictate is provided by Megakad xd ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (“we”).
2Licence
We grant you a free, non-exclusive licence to install and use ClearDictate on any number of Macs, for personal or business use. You may deploy it across your organisation. You may not resell it or distribute modified copies.
3The speech model
The NVIDIA Parakeet model is provided under its own licence, which is shown in the app and linked from the Download page.
4Optional OpenAI features
If you use your own OpenAI key, your use of OpenAI is governed by your agreement with OpenAI, and any charges are yours.
5Your content
What you dictate is yours. We don’t receive it and claim no rights to it.
6No warranty
ClearDictate is provided “as is”. Speech recognition can make mistakes; check important text before you send it.
7Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law.
8Law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We’ll post changes here with a new date.
